Garou Avatar information

Before choosing to play a Garou in Opaline: The Veiled, please understand that all Garou characters are required to have an APPROVED, FULLY MESH Lupus and Crinos avatar before play begins. We strongly recommend consulting with a Storyteller or Admin if you intend to use alternatives to the suggested base avatars listed below. Our staff is always happy to help guide players toward options that fit both the setting and our visual standards.

 

To maintain the tone, atmosphere, and immersive quality of Opaline, furry-style avatars will not be approved under any circumstances. Garou in Opaline are intended to feel primal, uncanny, dangerous, and grounded in folk-horror aesthetics rather than cartoon or anthropomorphic design styles.

 

We also want to be transparent about the time and expense involved in building a quality Garou avatar. Choosing Garou should feel rewarding and immersive, but players should understand beforehand that creating both a Lupus and Crinos form does require some investment. This is not meant to discourage anyone from playing Garou ~ only to ensure players know what to expect before committing to the lineage.

 

Our recommended starting options are:

 

• Timber Wilds Industries – Lupus Base Avatar: 3,300L

• Night Song Lupus Skins: Starting around 300L

• Wolfkin Crinos Avatar: 2,799L 

 

Players are absolutely not limited to these creators or brands. However, through experience we have found these to be the strongest mesh foundations currently available for Lupus and Crinos forms. These brands also offer the widest range of mods, customization options, accessories, and add-ons to help fully personalize your Garou character.
